i arrived a little early to prairie
village mall on saturday morning , met
lynn (the owner) and took a few shots
before the kids got there.
lynn was also set up for a birthday
party of 25-7 year olds complete with
chef hats, measuring cups and aprons!
this place is really great! colorful,
spacious and places for parents to
sit (if need be). the decor is clean
and modern and fun (for everyone!)
check them out. it's on the west
end of prairie village mall opposite
kowalski's & next to h&r block.
this would be owen's last day in a
series of 4 saturdays where he and
his dad (my brother mike) would
bond in a cooking class for kids.
so adorable!

oh, a funny note...owen does not
know about pancake syrup yet-
and as mike passed it to the other
little boy he said, "and we'd
like to keep it that way for
awhile." i thought that was funny!
the arizona austins are in colorado
and should be here sometime tomorrow.
oh, gary and i went to excelsior to
visit with nicki's brother, simon.
he's here 'til tomorrow then it's
on to philadelphia for work and then
back home to england.

we hit the fair yesterday afternoon.
hit all the usual booths and ate
all the usual crap! it was
the most packed i've ever seen it!
didn't over do it tho'...that
was a first! must mean i need to
make a 2nd trip....with my sister!
